Wireless branch is a technical branch which works under the supervision of D.C.P HQ.
Wireless branch provides uninterrupted wireless communication for 24 hours which helps to maintain law and order in the Police Commissionerate .This branch assists in all other technical requirements .This branch also co-ordinates with other technical service providers for providing uninterrupted services to the police. Different kind of communication Voice, Data messaging, video conferencing is prime responsibility of this branch. This branch also maintained by Anti Sabotage Equipment, CCTV, Control Room. Each Police Station, Police Mobiles, check post have Wireless sets. Beat Marshalls are equiped with Walky Talky. To enhance the Wireless communication coverage area Repeaters are used which are situated at hill top or high raised buildings.
